Description

6001 LLB - Radial Bearing - 12mm x 28mm x 8mm -

ABEC3

This ABEC-3 bearing features deep-groove design races, with Grade 10 balls, LLB seals and 90% fill with high pressure water proof grease to withstand daily abuse of use and the elements.

ABEC5

This ABEC-5 bearing features deep-groove design races, with Grade 10 balls, dual-lip, full-contact LLU seals facing outwards to withstand daily abuse of use and the elements, and lighter-contact LLB seals facing inwards to contain the 90% fill with high pressure water proof grease. CN clearance specification is best for looser press-fit bearing bores.

Ceramic Hybrid

ABEC-5, Ceramic-hybrid bearing featuring 52100 High-Carbon Chromium alloy races paired with grade 5 Silicon-Nitride Ceramic balls with 90% fill, high-pressure, water-proof grease. Si3N4 Ceramic balls reduce bearing wear and increase bearing life by eliminating steel on steel contact within the bearing.

Ceramic Zero

Enduro Zero, Ceramic-Hybrid, ABEC-5, radial bearing featuring black-oxide treated 52100 High-Carbon chromium alloy races paired with grade 5 Silicon-Nitride Ceramic balls with 90% fill, high-pressure, water-proof grease. Si3N4 ceramic balls reduce bearing wear and increase bearing life by eliminating steel on steel contact within the bearing. Black oxide/magnetite treatment to the races provides an extra level of corrosion resistance and extended worry-free performance. VV seals are our lightest contact design, allowing for lowest drag bearing we make, though not as protective against the elements as our LLB or LLU type seals.

Stainless Steel

This radial bearing features 440C stainless steel alloy races and Grade 10 balls with LLB seals and 90% fill with high pressure water proof grease to withstand daily abuse of use and the elements. This size bearing is generally used as a hub bearing for some quick-release hub designs and can be used as a pivot bearing though the MAX-type version of this bearing is better suited for suspension use.

Not all stainless steel is created equal.
Enduro only uses 440C stainless steel balls and races to provide long life and superior corrosion resistance in applications and environments that may be less than ideal. 440C has the highest strength, hardness, and wear resistance of all the standard 440-series stainless alloys with high carbon content. As you might expect, it is also the most expensive of the 440 series alloys and requires multiple rounds of heat treatment and cryogenic treatment to achieve its superior mechanical properties. Though stainless steel has 20% less load capacity and is slightly softer than our standard 52100 chromium steel used in most of our bearings, stainless steel is an excellent alternative for use in wet conditions, if you wash your bike often, or where sweat can be a problem.

Enduro stainless bearings all carry a full two year anti-corrosion warranty.

The Enduro line of bearings are available in high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid and XD-15 with ceramic or stainless balls. Our bearings are always engineered with deepest groove races possible to accommodate the largest balls and feature dual-lip seals that ride in a micro-groove creating a full labyrinth to provide superior protection against the elements.
